DeShawn White is a recognized actress and growing writer/director hailing from the DMV, settled in NYC. As an actress she can be seen in shows such as: Law and Order: SVU, Marvel's Jessica Jones, Wu-Tang An American Saga, HBO's The Deuce, alongside Edward Norton in the film Motherless Brooklyn and has worked across the US and off-broadway as a theater artist.

As a director her credits include 6 episodes of "Mistake Series SZN 2",  "Love My Roomie" on Amazon Prime,  'Good People"(Boston International Film Festival, Hip Hop Film Festival, “Sad”, “Shakespeare in Black” and “Plant(her)” (Kwanza Film Festival, Black Harvest Film Festival).
